After my contribution to the Ghost In The Shell Playstation video game soundtrack in 1997 (see last weeks Mystery Monday post), I was asked again in the year 2004 to contribute to a Ghost In The Shell tribute album. I produced this hypnotic techno track that embodies for me the contemplation of Major Motoko Kusanagi about her inner self. Other artists on Ghost In The Shell Tribute Album Ver 2.0.0 were Luke Slater, Green Velvet, Carl Cox, Oliver Ho, Bryan Zentz, Q-hey, Shin Nishimura, Ken Morioka and Kouichi Yamazaki.
I’ve been playing Soul Survivor again in my recent sets and it always leaves an impression. Unfortunately it’s is not available anymore. I’d like to change that. For the time being you can listen to the full album on YouTube.
