“In between years”, the time between Christmas and NYE, I conceived this official video for “The Floating World”, a track of my Peace 4 All EP, catalogue number 001 of his label microglobe.
I created The Floating World to be an updated soundscape of older tracks like All Our Colours (MFS Records, 1994) and Motherwomb (Frisbee Tracks, 2007). The track title was inspired by my love for Japanese culture and the art of Ukiyo-e. The video footage was shot on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg, a modern-day equivalent to the amusement quarters of ancient Edo.
