Having become one of techno’s most vital labels, BluFin Records now keeps up that reputation with a heavy new EP from Mijk van Dijk with Baby Doc and MvD remixes.
Opener Teenage Tricks is a whirling ride through beats of synths, popping drums and manic leads that will tie your mind in knots. It’s filled with kinetic energy so really keeps you on your toes. The Baby-Doc remix is more funky, with slapping hits and upbeat kicks making you stand up right and march.
Last of all, the MvD remix is full throttle, with squirming synths and powering drums taking you late into the night and far off into the future. Once again here BluFin have come through with the goods.
