Track 6 of 28: Frankie Goes To Hollywood – War (And Hide) (1984)
I loved the 80s productions of Trevor Horn: ABC, Propaganda but especially FGTH. Their first album was like a master class in concept and sound for me. I also loved this cover version of the original Edwin Starr song and tried to tap this bassline on my electric bass with my finger tips, although it was of course a sequenced synth.
