I became a bass player because I was the third-best (aka worst) guitarist in my school kid band.
So I was looking for bassist role models and one of the first was Stanley Clarke with his super fast Jazz Rock Fusion bass play.
Genius bass player and I always loved this intro of his solo debut album.
