Mijk + Peter C.krellMy friend Peter C. Krell is hosting a vinyl records pop up shop at Kisuna Arts & Records Pop Up Shop in Berlin-Mitte this week. This is about the art of crate-digging, but also introducing the brand-new Technics SL-1200 GAE turntable, which has such a high price tag that it probably won’t be seen so often “in the wild”.
Kisuna Japan Art Shop is a shop for traditional Japanese art, pottery, kimonos and is situated in Grosse Hamburger Strasse 19A in Berlin-Mitte.
I will play a one-hour vinyl set today, on Wednesday June 15th from 17:00h alongside my buddy DJ Jauche aka Jack Flash aka Oli Marquardt of Machomovers fame. If you should happen to be around then, please pop into the pop up shop. I’m much looking forward to play with the new Technics turntable and will bring some of my favourite vinyls for a relaxed afternoon joint.
The Technics turntable has the limited edition model number #000 (yes, three zeros).
A very rare unit!
The whole event is not only supported by Technics but also by Richie Hawtin’s Enter Sake brand.
If you happen to be somewhere else, you can watch the live stream via Flimme.
Like yesterday’s live stream with Radio Fritz’s very own AndrĂ© Langenfeld.
Here’s the Facebook Event.
