Jürgen Laarmann & Mijk van Dijk, Future Forever – Forcing The Future – Trapez-261.5
Part 12 of my 2023 recap, release date: 2023-10-23
With this release on Trapez we went way back in time and paid tribute to the 30 year anniversary of the techno magazine Frontpage. Frontpage head honcho Jürgen Laarmann and yours truly wrote this soundtrack for the wild techno days of the 90ies when Frontpage magazine was the most sought after techno magazine. "Forcing The Future" was the motto of Frontpage and so we threw in everything that mattered back in the days of underground techno: nasty synth sounds with a rave signal quality meet reverb driven claps and snares. We proudly premiered the tune for the 30th anniversary of Frontpage Tours on Saturday the 14th of October at "Staub", the legendary daytime party at aboutblank Berlin.
