I’ve been attending a memorial celebration at the former so-called “Jugendschutzlager Uckermark”, where non-comforming girls and women were kept in captivity, tortured and killed by the Nazis.
Very emotional, most of these were not even branded by antisemitism, racism or political hostility but just because they were not conforming with the Nazi agenda and wanted to live free – just like you and me!
