It is devastating to hear that one of the true great pioneers and founders of techno has now passed away. My deepest sympathies go out to his family, his friends, and everyone who knew him better than I did. For all of us, there remains his music—which will forever stand as a cornerstone of techno and will always serve to remind us of him. What would our music be without him? Would it even be?
