I was totally in awe when I discovered Michael Rother‘s first solo album “Flammende Herzen” as a young boy. I tried to learn the beautiful guitar solos on that album, but of course I failed and later decided to play the bass instead.

As usual the Japanese WIRE festival releases a compilation. When I played there for the first time in 1999 I wrote a tune called Lite My Wire to celebrate the festival and my friends in Japan. This time again I took the opportunity to do something special.
