Bass Works Recordings 100th Anniversary Compilation

Bass Works Recordings is a respected Techno label from Japan, which is relatively unknown in Germany. However, they are already celebrating their 100th release now with this compilation called “Nessie”. I’m proud to be featured on this compilation with a remix that I did for my friend Shin Nishimura.I met Shin for the first time when I played in Shanghai (China) in 1999. He was a part of the early Hong Kong-based Technasia crew, originally consisting of Charles Siegling and Amil Khan (now represented only by Charles). Later Shin moved back to his home country Japan to lead Plus Records Tokyo and become a major force of Japanese Techno ever since. Outspoken and passionate, he’s a strong and respected voice of Japanese club culture.
However we’re still fighting over who’s better in PlayStation Football “Pro Evolution Soccer/ Winning Eleven” 😉
